When you search for a book in the library catalog, it will usually say "Available" next to the call number if the book is available. If it says something else, like a due date or "Missing," that means it is not currently available to check out. But you can still request another copy through Delivery or Interlibrary Loan!

There are a few exceptions - for some small collections, like the books at the Women's Center or the Kawasaki room, the catalog only indicates the collection name, and you will need to go there to see if the book is available.
