When you search for a book in the library catalog, it will usually say "Available" before listing the location and call number: 

If it says something else, like "Not Available at UNL" that means the title is not currently available to check out. Clicking on the item will give you the additional options to request the items through Delivery (if it's available from UNK, UNO, or UNMC) or from Interlibrary Loan!

There are a few exceptions - for some small collections, like the books at the Women's Center, Spanish Studies Institute, or NCTA (in Curtis, NE), you will need to go there to see if the book is available.
