Pages to Paths highlights five key anniversaries taking place in 2025 and early 2026. These moments represent major turning points in the Libraries’ development:

  • 80 years since Love Library opened its doors in 1943 (celebrated in Fall 2025)
  • 50 years since the construction of Love Library North in 1975 (celebrated in Fall 2025)
  • 20 years since the founding of the Center for Digital Research in the Humanities in 2005 (celebrated in Fall 2025)
  • 10 years since the opening of the Adele Hall Learning Commons in 2016 (celebrated in Winter/Spring 2026)
  • 5 years since the opening of the Dinsdale Family Learning Commons in 2021 (celebrated in Winter/Spring 2026)

Together, these anniversaries reflect how the Libraries has continually adapted to support research, learning, and community across generations by providing access to millions of books and digital resources, expert support for research and teaching, and welcoming spaces where people study, collaborate, and create. We also lead nationally through efforts such as the Center for Digital Research in the Humanities.
