On May 16, restoration work will begin on the Love Library Cupola. This restoration project will take 10-12 weeks.
Blocked entrance and sidewalk - southeast entrance and sidewalks from R street:
Construction fence will be installed between R street and Love South. This fence will block off construction areas needed to restore the cupola.
Southeast entrance of Love Library South, and the sidewalk from R Street, will be closed at points during renovation to make room for a crane. Signs will be installed to help guide foot traffic.
Open entrances - all other entrances and sidewalks to Love Library remain open:
Love Southwest entrance and sidewalks will remain open and Love South entrance under the link will remain open during cupola renovation.
Noise - study areas and offices located in southeast corner:
Study spaces and offices located in the southeast corner of Love South may experience noise from the demolition waste chute used during the renovation. If you need to find a different place to study, visit our Places to Study web page.
