Q. What resources can community users access?

Community users with a card can checkout books and use UNL Libraries computers and online resources while on campus.  

Free and open access scholarly materials that don't require you to be on campus or have a UNL Libraries community card include: 

• Open Access databases (no library login required)
• Google Scholar (some articles are free to read)
• Open Access materials on JSTOR
• Free JSTOR account (gives access to 6 free articles per month)
• Directory of Open Access Journals
• Directory of Open Access Books
• Lincoln City Libraries databases (if you have a Lincoln City Libraries card)
• NebraskAccess databases (for Nebraska residents)
• OpenStax textbooks
• Open Textbook Library
• Internet Archive

Non-Scholarly & "Fun" Resources

• OverDrive / Libby ebooks and audiobooks (if you have a Lincoln City Libraries card)
• Hoopla ebooks, audiobooks, movies, and comics (if you have a Lincoln City Libraries card)
