You have the option to cancel an Interlibrary Loan request if the material is no longer required.

To cancel your request, you can try doing so through your Interlibrary Loan (ILL) account. However, if the item you requested has already been shipped, you'll need to reach out to Interlibrary Loan for assistance with cancellation. You can reach them by phone at 402-472-2522 or via email at LibrariesDelivery@unl.edu.

Please note that the duration for processing requests can vary. Typically, physical materials take between 10-15 business days for delivery, though this timeframe is subject to the shipping method chosen by the lending library (such as USPS, FedEx, UPS, etc.). If there's a specific date beyond which you no longer require the item, please specify this on the form to prevent unnecessary shipping. Remember, the date you specify includes the shipping duration and the time it spends on the hold shelf.
