A federated search searches several databases at once. Our library catalog can search for materials across many, but not all, of our databases - just select "Articles and More" from the drop-down menu next to the search box.

However, this is not as fast or specific as searching for articles in individual databases.

Some publishers offer a federated search of all their databases - for example, you can select "EBSCO Databases" or "ProQuest Databases" on our Databases webpage.
