Some (typically older) library resources are not digitally available and are instead preserved on microfilm (reels of plastic film) and microfiche (small sheets of microfilm).
The Libraries catalog will specify when an item is on microfilm or microfiche.
Most microfilm and microfiche items are located in the lower level of Love North.
Because the information on microfilm and microfiche is stored in minaturized form, these formats require special equipment to view them.
There is a ScanPro scanner located in the Love South Link that will allow you to view and scan/copy portions of the film or fiche .
