Q. How do I search the library catalog?

There are two ways to search the UNL library catalog:

• Use the search box on the home page: libraries.unl.edu This searches the library catalog as well as several article databases and other electronic resources. This version of the catalog is sometimes referred to as "Encore."
• Click on "Classic Catalog" on the home page--this searches fewer electronic resources and looks different, but has similar functionality to Encore.

Feel free to try both versions of the catalog to figure out which works best for you.
