But yes, you are welcome to enjoy food and drinks when you are anywhere in the library.
We do ask that patrons be considerate of our cleaning staff, who work hard to keep the building looking good, and try to leave as little mess as possible. Please throw away your food-related trash in waste bins and recycle whenever possible.
Also, try to avoid eating while using one of the public computers. Those keyboards can be difficult to clean, plus, think about all of the different people who use those computers each day. Maybe not the most hygienic place to consume your food! Drinks should be covered or have a lid, again because of the increased possibility of spills.
And if you do happen to spill something on the floor or furniture, please let someone at an AskUs desk know right away so it can be cleaned up right away.
