ASKus loanable technology does not assign late fees for overdue equipment. Rather, once an item is 14 days overdue, other steps are taken.
Replacement costs will be billed if the equipment is 14 days overdue, and a block will be placed on the borrower's account.
If an item reaches 'Lost' status, a registered letter may be sent to the police to recover the item, and the patron will be banned from accessing loanable technology for a full year.
