Since the UNL Libraries and most other libraries are currently closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, you may not have access to the print books you are used to using from our collections or requesting via Interlibrary Loan. The Finding Ebooks guide will give you (free) options for identifying ebooks that you can access from home.
A growing number of publishers and vendors are offering expanded access to their titles at no cost to students and faculty to assist with curriculum and research support during the COVID-19 outbreak. In addition, there are some web-based resources that provide access to ebooks.
If you are unable to locate a title in which you are interested--or even while you are looking--we recommend that you submit an Interlibrary Loan request for the book. If there are specific chapters from a book that you need, chapter requests are sometimes easier for other libraries to fulfill than requests for an entire book.
