Our Interlibrary Loan (ILL) office can borrow books from other libraries for you. Below are your options for requesting items through ILL:

Option 1: Libraries Catalog

  1. Search for the item in our catalog
  2. Click on ‘Request the (item) from another library through ILL‘.
  3. Login to the ILL system or click on ‘First Time Users’ to create an account.
  4. The form will be filled in with the item record information. Add any additional details (if needed).

Option 2: WorldCat

  1. Search for the item: https://firstsearch-oclc-org.libproxy.unl.edu/WebZ/FSPrefs?entityjsdetect=:javascript=true:screensize=large:sessionid=fsap05pxm1-1680-llldsl8h-bi24iw:entitypagenum=1:0
  2. Click on ‘Request via ILL(ILLIAD)’ in the items record.
  3. Login to the ILL system or click on ‘First Time Users’ to create an account.
  4. The form will be filled in with the item record information. Add any additional details (if needed).

Option 3: ILL Request Form

  1. Go to the Interlibrary Loan login page at: https://unl.illiad.oclc.org/illiad/logon.html
  2. Log in or click on ‘First Time Users’ to create an account.
  3. Fill out the request form and you will be notified when the book is ready for you to pick up.
